Shame. I knew I should have kept an eye on the thread after leaving work yesterday. Editing out your character/server is classic, though. They don't make 'em like they used to around here. Sigh.

Man I saw the beginning of this in the minions thread, didn't think it would amount to too much.
Shows what I know.
Yeah but it's over now :\
I guess back to Twitch Plays Pokemon.
True enough. All I can hope for now is that he gets so salty he has to flail around on other forums in anger.
It was a wild ride. Apparently I was banned for an hour while at dinner. Who knew.
I'm completely bummed that I skipped this thread because of the thread title and now the OP is banned =(
Btw, I have never gotten an allagan heavy belt and no one in my select group of everyone has ever gotten a belt so the belt doesn't exist from coil.
You probably need a Goldsmith. Our BLM has wanted Casting Body forever and we've never seen it drop. This week I switched to Goldsmith while in a lobby and it finally dropped for him. So yeah, you need a Goldsmith to make the stuff you want to drop. I've tested it personally.
My coil group on Fairy got 0, i mean 0 healer drops, until I leveled a monk to 50 on Excalibur.
People with this retarded line of reasoning, like the OP, is why Vegas and every casino in the world makes a killing.
People see patterns that just are not there.
We gave leader to our scholar this week to enter us in coil and we got 3 healer drops (ironically though, all stuff both of our healers already had head/neck/ears). Entering with scholar confirmed for healing drops.
But that same system doesn't always work! Entering with a BLM and a SMN in T4 is a 100%, absolutely sure way to have casting legs never, ever drop. Ever. Confirmed not only by Yoshi P, but his mother too.
Can confirm. I got my allagan pants of casting when I was on DRG.
Can confirm, got casting pants on pld, got pld weapon on bard.
Do these methods apply to PS3 and PC or just PC?
The funny thing here is that I have only fished Boarskin maps (obsessive fisherman, RotL, all the hardest fish caught, etc.) and I have never gotten a Tonberry. Could have spared this guy his "BUT FISHING COULD BE DIFFERENT!" tangent if I had seen this thread earlier, but I'm glad I didn't because /popcorn.
Arg, just when we thought we had it figured out, more viarables. I'm on PS3, any PC confirmation? Yes/no's only.
