I did some tests on Holy Circle's Intimidation rate.
PLD 95
Holy Circle, Without Gallant feet.
Code:
Melee Damage Taken
Player Melee Dmg Melee % Hit/Miss M.Low/Hi M.Avg #Crit C.Low/Hi C.Avg Crit%
Martel 0 0.00 % 642/2920 0/0 0.00 4 0/0 0.00 0.62 %
Passive Defenses
Player Evasion Evasion % Parry Parry % Counter Counter % Intimidate Intimidate %
Martel 2086 76.47 % 0 0.00 % 0 0.00 % 834 30.57 %*
*The intimidation % listing in the parse data is an error.
Kparser wasn't counting the intimidations themselves when calculating the total # of hits.
Actual value 23.5%
So 23.5%-10% for 13.5% from holy circle. Which seems weird. Shouldn't it be +15% like the DMG dealt? So figuring variance was screwing with me, I parsed it again.
Holy Circle, Without Gallant feet ver2.
Code:
Melee Damage Taken
Player Melee Dmg Melee % Hit/Miss M.Low/Hi M.Avg #Crit C.Low/Hi C.Avg Crit%
Martel 0 0.00 % 585/2462 0/0 0.00 7 0/0 0.00 1.20 %
Passive Defenses
Player Evasion Evasion % Parry Parry % Counter Counter % Intimidate Intimidate %
Martel 1759 75.04 % 0 0.00 % 0 0.00 % 703 29.99 %*
*see previous note.
Actual value 23%
Again, 23%-10%=13% gain from holy circle. Doesn't seems like that's wrong then. -.-
Holy Circle, With Gallant feet.
Code:
Player Melee Dmg Melee % Hit/Miss M.Low/Hi M.Avg #Crit C.Low/Hi C.Avg Crit%
Martel 450 92.98 % 637/3663 0/11 0.67 9 0/18 3.11 1.41 %
Passive Defenses
Player Evasion Evasion % Parry Parry % Counter Counter % Intimidate Intimidate %
Martel 2560 79.95 % 2 0.31 % 0 0.00 % 1104 34.48 %*
*As above
Actual value 25.6%
So Gallant feet boost Holy circle's intimidation rate by the expected 2%. Raising it from 13% to 15%. Still dunno what's with the weirdly low base rate though.
Has anyone tested other circle effects(and their enhancing gear) to see if they follow this pattern?
Besides killer instinct anyway, which has been tested to be 15% already. Maybe they put it at 15% because it's a merit JA and has no enhancing gear?
Although, that still doesn't explain why holy circle is 15%/17% on dmg bonus, but 13%/15% on intimidation.
