    Temper Double Attack Testing

    Temper is weird.
    404 Skill = 10% DA rate, recasting every 500 seconds
    410 Skill = 12% DA rate, recasting every 500 seconds
    435 Skill = 13% DA rate, recasting every 600 seconds
    471 Skill = 17% DA rate, recasting every 600 seconds

    So it is either non-linear (seems very unlikely) or there is something else going on. All precisions are within 1%.

    I'm going to confirm that it stacks with DA tonight by putting Brutal/Atheling on one of the points that I'm comfortable with.

    I'm probably missing something... but it seems like it's around 10 skill/1% with 10% rate @ 400.

    Well, all of those samples are N>5000. I was expecting 410 skill to be 11% so it could be a nice pattern like what you said, but it isn't.

    To follow up on Temper, I've begun assuming that the 410 point was just a low probability event. It doesn't technically exclude 11% at 95% confidence, so I'm going back and doing it again now (while at work).
    Other than that point, the other ones match: DA Rate = FLOOR((Skill-300)/1000,1)

    So every 10 skill gets you another 1% DA. There is probably some floor (~5% proc rate?) that I can look for if they ever give us the ability to adjust our skill levels on the test server.

    Left to do:
    * Confirm that 410 is actually an 11% DA rate.
    * Confirm that 4X0+9 is 1% less DA than 4X0+10 (will probably use 449 because I already have 450).
    * Write a spellcast script that takes Enhancing magic gear off after casting Temper and confirm that the DA rate doesn't change for one of my stronger points. (Enspell IIs are recalculated every hit).

    Is there a cap to it? I mean not couting augments you should be able to get 500 skill at 99. 20% DA rate wouldn't be too shabby for the spell.

    There is no cap that I can hit, but I don't have an enhancing/collosus torque, augmenting earring, the new Enhancing belt, augmented Zenith crown, or AF2+2 body. I would be shocked if it was capped. 21% DA would make it almost equal to Saber Dance, without the penalties and stacking with /WAR.

    Weapon/Weapon/none/none
    Zenith +1 (8)/Enhancing (7)/Augmenting(3)/none
    AF2+2(15)/AF2+1(15)/none/none
    AF3(6)/New Belt(5)/AF1(15)/AF3+2(15)
    404+16 from merits+89 from gear = 509 Skill

    If there is one more point of enhancing magic hiding somewhere that I don't know about, you could get 21% DA.

    There's a 3 enhancing skill grip, if you don't mind losing TP when you cast it. Collosus also situationally gives 10 instead of 7.

    AF2+2 hands also have 18 instead of 15.

    So that's up to another 9, potentially.

    Okay, so 21% is pretty easily doable (but not for me). I confirmed that something was wrong with the 410 parse or it was just incredibly unlucky.

    Confirmed 419 skill is still 11%.

    I will have to confirm that I can take off the gear after casting in another parse, although it's almost certainly true, because I don't have any other foot armor that RDM can wear on me atm. The last thing to confirm would be that Temper can proc on WSs. It freaking can, but I'll test it anyway.

    You can also get an augmented Aptus earring from ASA mission 10 that can have another +2 enhancing skill.
