I still put my money on Bucky not Falcon being the next Captain only due to contracts. They said Bucky has something crazy like a 9 picture deal.
All rumor and heresay but the word is Marvel has been pursuing talks with Sony about Spider-Man. Despite making money ASM2 was very damaging to the Spider movie brand. ASM3 has been pushed waaaaay back, lack of confidence in Sony's ability to make venom movie work coupled with majority of peoples complete lack of interest in Sinister Six has brought alot of pressure on Sony to not fail in its attempt to make a "Spiderverse". Unlike Fox's Contract near complete control over X-Men/FF(and by extension anything mutant), Marvel does take in money from Spidey merchandise/cartoon/etc... so they have a vested interest in Spidey not failing in the box office. Its not likely Sony will be willing to budge over such a money maker but the floor does seem to be falling out from under them as far as getting the Spidey movies back on track. If there is any truth to the story is pretty safe bet that Sony wont do anything till they see if Sinister Six actually works/successful .
There are also rumors that Downey will be suiting up for Cap 3, and that the story will heavily revolve around:
Spoiler: show
thanks valisk
In the event that somehow a deal is made to allow Spider-man in the Marvel movies, I hope they just have him just show up and have everyone be like "Oh hey look its Spider-man!" instead of doing yet another origin story movie.
No. Seriously.
Yea, this is a good lesson on why I should finish reading a topic first.

From Marvel Live Event: "Events of the whole cinematic universe will make all governments in the world want regulation. Not so much about secret identity, but about who reports to who."
It kind of makes sense, it's been building towards that in Agents of Shield and has been since the first Avengers.
They're going to be super busy by the time Thanos rolls up.
it also makes sense for secret identities to not be an issue since the current xmen/spiderman-less MCU has like...zero superheroes with secret identities lol
couple of interesting CW related theories

Pretty sure they would have announced it IM was a thing.
I assume so too, but I saw it while reading the other one and figured it couldn't hurt to link it here. it does seem odd that they'd just give up the July spot though, the next two years are both May, July, November.
I want it to happen. It'd be a hell of a surprise.
Oh godddddddd I'm looking forward to this as much as I am Avengers 2.
