    Only saw 1 lvl up when cor dia2'd it, we were blasting light skillchains on it otherwise and no lvlup were observed from those. So it doesnt seem like its strictly "light damage causes level up".


    Has anything not been resistant/immune to stun so far?
    Light Skillchain is not strictly light damage. Remember that skillchains pick the element the NM is least resistant to starting from a list.

    Fire > Wind > Thunder > Light

    Therefore, he would have to be more resistant to Fire/Wind/Thunder to trigger the light damage.

    Yeah, I know, but it rules out needing to be wary of skillchaining it for risk of making it unmanagable, atleast towards Light, it doesnt rule out Fusion or Transfixion.

    I dont know if the pld was casting flash (in class, cant check logs), but I dont think a cor/whm's Dia2 would land for anything greater than 0, considering my sch/blm's noctohelix didnt even break 150.

    Even 0 damage will trigger changes in behavior if they're triggered by magic damage. Doing a 0 damage Dia on Perdurable Raptor will cause him to rage, for example.

    Well the pld just skyped me (hes too shy to post here I guess) and said he was casting flash on yztarg, so casting flash isnt a trigger either.

    0 dmg dia still deals dmg though

    I'm pretty sure if you Bio a dark elemental, the initial bio damage will deal a full resist, but will the following DoT be subjected to dark elemental innate resistance to dark? If you bio/poison/whatever an ahriman (or something similar), and it puts up magic shield, does the DoT stop taking effect?

    Not that help text is 100% reliable, but the description for the spell is: Lowers an enemy's defense and gradually deals Light elemental damage.

    So theoretically, a mob that absorbs light or dark would be healed by dia or bio. Any mob this can be tested on off the top of your head?

    Hard to say. It's not dmg per se just lose of hp. The debuff still has an element though. Not sure about elementals. Not sure about ahriman actually. The debuff stays on though so I'd assume... Just saying though that for this weird new instance it might count that.

    you can get credit for the magian trials when using the elemental debuffs like frost, so i imagine they are considered elemental.

    I want to say a Bio tick does eat a Liement, but I need to double check that.

    for general magic damage, the t3 in abyssea attohwa? when it enters magic absorb just heal it to full and dia it?

    Also theres a new instinct in monstrosity that makes you absorb water dmg so that might work. Plus let you see the hp tic by tic

    Marjami Fracture:

    Yorcia Weald (U)
    Tier 1-3 NMs give 750 base plasm.
    Tier 4-5 NMs give 1500 base plasm.
    NM plasm multipliers are the same.
    You get low amounts of experience and capacity points from every mob.
    Normal mobs are level ~115, and give 50 plasm each.
    There's a few psudo-NMs, such as a cockatrice and a hippogryph that I saw. The cockatrice gave 250 plasm when killed, didn't get to the hippogryph.
    Bats, triple bats, apkallu, and birds were seen as normal enemies.
    No idea what the zone message did.

    Is the harpy in Marjami susceptible to terror? Might just be able to zerg it down the last 25%/ post shriek with ice damage, ice runs and mnks inside the fracture.

    "and a couple things to note, he did not put his aura up on pull until ~95%, knocked it off with sch MBing gravitation. he didn't put aura back up until just over 50, and could not remove it the same way after that. Spammed static prison the rest of the fight, so until aura can be remove 100% melee strat isn't viable cause of dispels really"
