March 17, broken stuff

All item-related issues should be resolved now (including GC, Itemizer, Find and LuaCore, hence all plugins as well), but it requires a relog (Hook update).

It's still broken on the development build, because the solution is pretty ugly and stupid, so we'll try to do it cleaner over there and port the changes back to live when it's done.

How do you force stop gear collector? Do you have to keep keyboard not disabled to do that? when it woudl freeze on me i could use controller but it would not unlock keyboard at all. everytime i had to shutdown the game thru task manager and restart all over again.

you can still use the keyboard to bring up the Windower UI. Once that is up, you can type "keyboard_blockinput 0" and it will unlock your keyboard

gearcollector still freezing up on safe with 80/80 for me. ive closed completely and relaunched and havent had any new hooks or anything. with the controller i can take soemthing outof the safe and it puts it right back in but if i open any other storage it doesnt seem to do anything. also a findall search didnt do anything for me a few minutes ago. Think i will go to sleep soon so hopefully things will be better when i wake up. keep up the good work arcon and the others, really appreciate it all. Tis the only thing that sucks about the windower is those short times when it doesnt work so well and we have become so dependant on it we dont feel like doin anything in game til its all good lol (least for me).

Right-click on your Hook.dll > Properties > Details. What version does it say there? It should be 4.2.0.5.

It says 4.2.0.4 when i open launcher it also says 4.2.0.4.

Are you using the dev launcher? The update only got pushed to the regular Windower, since we're still trying to adjust it on dev (the live Windower currently has a temporary solution which works but is ugly and stupid, so we're trying to do it better on dev).

as far as i know, im using the normal launcher, but still only getting hook 4.2.0.4

As far as I could see from yesterday all the "important" stuff I use were perfectly working.
I only had issues with PettP, Findall (was seeing 7 ghastly stones whereas I only had 4), Reive and Plasm.

Then I can't explain it, The manifest definitely has 4.2.0.5 as the latest version... it should be updating Hook to that. I just tried it myself and it downloaded the correct Hook.

A fix for that was pushed already, try restarting your launcher to get the newest Lua files.

soooo i log in this morning and neither silence addon or plug in is working. I'm in salvage atm and the gear change spam is slowly driving me mad -_-
