Graphics carding problem

Currently on my desktop I'm running with x2 GeForce GTX 660, and when ever i run FFXIV on high in big fights or maximum the cards crash. Is there anyway to fix the problem or a certain setting to turn down so it won't crash ever so often ? The only thing that crashes is FFXIV everything else will work.

well are your graphics 21 yet?

Driver up to date? Cards overheating? Can run hwinfo to get temps of your cards: http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php , 32bit or 64bit is fine. Run it in sensor only mode after starting the game. I know my laptop started getting massive stutter a week or so back but that was due to heat from the heatsink being caked in dust (hwinfo showed a temp over 90+C, it was throttling itself to not burn out, now it's back in the 70s).

Driver is up to date. I got an error saying, Sensor Warning : ASUS EC HWINFO has found an Embedded controller (EC) Sensor from which it will report data. Reading data from this sensor can cause a higher load or latency, which can result in performace drops. On some systems, this can also have an impact on system stability. Thats the error i got

Weird. Does it have its own temperature reading thing then? Have you at least dusted your cards recently (while whole comp is off)? Not much else I can think of without more info. Does it not crash without SLI? Is your PSU highly rated? As odd as it sounds, PSU not providing stable current can be a hidden cause for headaches, though rare problem (an all-else-fails kind of thing). Anything else unstable (not just games)?

Only thing unstable is ffxiv but I haven't dusted it since I built it, sorry still new to this. I'll buy the air can today and blow it out. I recorded a log while I was doing T5 so I'll see what's going on.
