Rift Mode

The original game’s hero Altair, Assassin’s Creed 2′s Ezio, Edward Kenway from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed: Liberation’s Aveline are among the characters playable in the new Rift mode.

Rift challenges players to race through a map collecting glyphs and trying to beat times set by other player’s ghosts.

New Details

The context of the modern day story of Assassin’s Creed Unity changes significantly from the Desmond Myles cycle.
Progression-wise, you can purchase every skill by when you become a master assassin, but getting every weapon “is a different story.”
There are four different specialization for Arno, and you can decide to focus on one of them.
There are four co-op skills, but you can only have one active at a time.
The game will have “epic action scenes,” even if Amancio didn’t want to spoil them.
A lot of the engine was reinvented for Assassin’s Creed Unity.
Since the team is reinventing the fundamentals of the game, there are more unknowns in development than in previous titles.
The delay was decided because more polish can be done when the game “comes together” towards the end of development. In those last two weeks the little details add up, and “can be the difference between a good game and a great game.”
The missions related to Arno’s redemption quest are single player, those related to the Brotherhood and their dealings in the French Revolution can be played co-op.
The catacombs of Paris will be accessible.
Arno speaks the occasional word in French, like Ezio did with Italian.
Arno is unrelated to Desmond. He belongs to another bloodline.
Each mission has a star rating system to indicate their difficulty.

I just realized this was pushed back to come out the same day as the Halo collection. Bums me out, man. I was hoping to have a couple weeks with it alone.

Honestly, at this point I'm probably looking forward to Dragon Age more than AC. A game every year and 2 coming out this year gets tiresome. At least DA will have some novelty.

So apparently Ubisoft is locking the game at 900p/30FPS on both systems because they want parody and don't want people to talk about which looks better and stuff.
