Didn't they mention a "gimmick" to obtain weapons from leviathin extreme?
If so, there may be something extra you need to do, making the fight harder, to obtain 100 instead of the 95 (for doing it the easy way). Or not doing the fight fast enough, or something else.

It was mentioned in one the interviews.

All that was mentioned was, you will need to get a weapon from Leviathan and then you will need to do something, and then something and then something, along the lines of that he was really vague with it which I could understand being you don't want to give up everything just in a live letter, takes away from discovery and experiencing it yourself.

Reading through the patch notes, seems like "Mirror of the Whorl" is the item that may serve to upgrade from 95 to 100. It's not the material for furniture - the materials from Leviathan are both bone (hard, extreme) - this is in the "other" category.

"A mysterious mirror that harbors the power of the mighty Leviathan."

Although they've mentioned it a few times in interviews, with these more detailed notes I'm ecstatic that they fully seemed to embrace progression as an alternative way of obtaining items (exchange and straight drop being the other two ways), but it remains to be seen what the general consensus is over this. I think this might cause quite a raucous among the most casual players.

If you take a look at all of the items that are being added, it looks like there are many, many items involved in upgrade processes.

The Leviathan song is just...yuck. The little bit they had in the trailer sounded good, but I don't really like how there's no crescendo or strong melody to back it.

An issue wherein the Fisher can obtain the Timeworn Leather/Goatskin/Toadskin/Boarskin/Peisteskin Maps even though their level does not fulfill the requirements.
Following are the correct required levels to obtain the timeworn maps:
Timeworn Leather Map: Level 36 or above
Timeworn Goatskin Map: Level 41 or above
Timeworn Toadskin/Boarskin/Peisteskin Map: Level 46 or above

Well I guess the secret is out: You could gather Leather maps as early as 5 fisher from Bluefog, and Goat maps at 27 from Moondrip (probably some other location too but found it while I was leveling anyways). Kind of sucks I guess.

Oh geez this leviathan song is horrible. Glad I have music on mute all the time anyways.

Datamining is always accepted on BG unless SE specifically contacts the admins to tell them to knock it off unless something has changed in the time I stopped paying attention to the forums.
