    Halatali HM

    Trash slightly harder than copperbell trash.

    1st boss: Activate switch and stand in circle during 1000-tonze swing. The same as Spiny Plume during Garuda EX. Also 1000-tonze swing survivable with more than 4500 HP. Probably best to position healer near switch so they can activate when mob runs in to do 1000-tonze swing. We killed on third try.

    Talk to NPC to exit first boss area and start second stage.

    2nd stage includes some waves of mobs including bear highlighted during video.

    2nd boss:Don't stand in Jettura. Avoid Cold Stare. Get a buff from the pillars (1 each person) to survive Demon Gaze. DPS race at the end, lots of AoE heals required. Ranged stand close to receive heals. We killed on second try.

    Talk to NPC to exit area and start 3rd stage.

    3rd and final boss: 1st phase - 4 person party, fight them with PvP strats. Healer > ranged DPS > melee DPS > Tank is kill order. 2nd Phase: Manticore and Mage. We killed Manticore first, but Mage might be better. Keep people topped off because if mage gets hit by Absolute Bind, they can't heal for 10 seconds. We killed on 1st try.

    35 minutes remaining.

    50 Myth, 45 Soldiery reward for entire dungeon.

    For the 2nd boss, you can kill the eye (forget what it's called) that spawns after he uses demon eye to make him stop pulsing the aoe.

    Absolute bind freezes 2 people. If one of the others touches the staff that appears, it breaks the bind.

    The Lancer in the first part of last boss doesn't have a proper hate table. Hits whoever. Didn't really matter, but meh.

    On that note, if you get bound and it spawns right in front of you, you can't click it. Somebody else has to run over and hit it.

    He targets one player similar to the flan in WP and follows him around until you kill him.

    Don't forget to take advantage of those dropping spikey ball things (whatever you wanna call them). Our team will pull from start to first gate, group them all up beneath the dropping hammer and with some AOE they go down nice and fast.

    The damage prevention mechanic for 1000-tonz swing is kind of weird. You don't actually have to be in the blue circle when the ability goes off. You can hit the switch as soon as you see it casting and than just run over to the blue circle and stand it in until it goes away. You can than go right up to the cyclops boss and start attacking him with no fear of taking damage. I assume standing in it long enough gives you some kind of buff. But it doesn't seem to show up on your status bar.

    Being in the blue area gives you a 1-hit Manawall when the mammet's cast bar completes after hitting the switch. As in, the same thing BLMs get that nullify a physical attack. It's not necessary to save it for 1000-tonz swing and not necessary to survive it (enough mitigation/Stoneskin/Adlo can just ignore it).

    Them chain things in the ceiling that drop down, you can drag mobs underneath it (make sure not to get hit yourself) to give them a damage taken up debuff; lets you mow them down faster. Though the healer might go nuts if you as tank gets hit by it. It's a fairly small radius.

    Halatali isn't very difficult but as far as fun factor it's one of the more fun dungeons as you get to face off against yourself (job/class wise that is). I like how the PLD has a move "Spirits Without" however I tried and "Spirits Within" doesn't counter it (it should!!)
