At first I was like "oshit" but then I looked it up and it's just a goddamn furniture mat.
Talk about disappointment.

Got a Darklight Choker of Striking last night off my lvl12 fisher retainer. Only thing she has equipped is an HQ lvl 8 fishing rod @_ @
haha awesome... I am loving this part of the patch, havent gotten anything cool yet still trying to get my fools up to 10, but this whole retainer thing is amazing.
Warwolf Gloves of Aiming (i70 BRD pvp hands), Ink & Quill, Stump Stool, Oasis Lantern, Riviera Pendant Lamp, Glade Counter so far for notable non-trash. MRD brought me the pvp gloves, BTN brought the other stuff except Riv lamp.
Also one of them brought me the newdungeon green i70 set's DRG feet yesterday but forget which.
Apparently my level 22 DoM retainer is a better crafter than I am.
Just reading through the thread, it seems the trend is that your retainer can bring you any combination of equipment that's i75 and lower and it seems any other item in the game apart from equipment is fair game.
Received a Gerbald's Redspike which is supposedly a 1.0 item?
Yeah, as was earlier mentioned with a pair of Mage's Pattens, the iLv52 items appear to be obtainable through this system. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Giantsgall weapon (i70 1.0-only) at some point either.
Giantsgall weapons are now craftable through Masterwork Alchemy.
Not that it takes away from your point, but minor correction lol :s
I'd imagine they would find the mossy item used in making them if anything.
My level 24 conjurer can now get 5 diremite webs an hour.
My level 25 miner can now obtain silver ore.
This is amazing....I might not ever use my BTN again except to get maps.
Oh god what if they can get maps.....
Hopefully higher level DoW can get fleece, those are still useful
This is a new one on me...
I got that yesterday. Use it; it's the sorriest firework you ever did see. Then NPC the rest because it sucks so much. It looks like you dropped a handful of glowing rice/embers; like, not even tossed into the air like the peach confetti, just dropped from arm's height.
I'm pretty sure Giantsgall are going to be used for some sort of weapon upgrade a la Longarm Composite Bow/Champion Lance. They are functionally identical to Sarnga/Avengers-tier weapons, but they require a Master book to attempt and i70 weapons are thoroughly obsoleted now.
