Respec Steps below:

After you buy your scroll in Bonfire, go back to old man in north shroud.

1. Select modification:

3. Your refunded scroll, with previous materias

4. Go to bon fire and talk to Hubxxxxx NPC(the guy who sells you the scroll.) and choose to remove infusion.

5. Select the one you wanna remove (lolparry)

6. Confirmation. yes gtfo already parry.

Awesome its one at a time. Going to swap Parry for Det as I can afford to and then save Alex to tweak the ACC for Coil3.

That sounds a little too forgiving. So for 1500 myths and an alex per materia I can freely adjust the ACC on my SCH book as deemed fit by Coil3's ACC requirements. Nice.

I guess in the mean time, your Axe remains at the Nexus stage with whatever stats was on it until you turn in the new scroll?

yes you still hold current nexus while having the scroll

changes only made after you talk to old man regarding modification and choose your nexus with readied scroll

oh that's nice, so can go the super cheap way to get the dmg increase when hoarding too many alex!

for peeps with only 1-2 nexus, this modification is superb i would say. There will come a point where you will have toooooo many alex anyway.

Any people with Novus->Nexus sword that can chime in? I have theories about where the cutoff is (and shield seems to not be able to get a bonus point) but I need more data points

idk how they deprive formulas but this seem like diversity is too good to be true and so you get more stats for gilsink into 2 stats

20acc should get you 21 acc at Nexus.

Yep. I could also get the full +3 secondary stats stats by doing 20 acc, 25 crit, 30 det. But that isn't a big deal to me. I don't mind missing a point or two on my Nexus if I will potentially get them back on a future upgrade. If those points are lost forever then I may just make some extra gil and go for a 2 stat weapon. It's impossible to know how future upgrades will work.

Novus is 75 secondary stats. Nexus is 75-78. If the next upgrade is i120 and has a full potential of 81 will those not getting the full 78 on their Nexus be able to get the full 81 on the i120 weapon? That is the question lingering in my mind. In the end I guess it's not that important because those 2 or 3 secondary stats only add up to a 1 DPS loss at most.

to be honest, scroll is not an issue, and everyone will have too many alex like how they had rowena tokens
