Ive been watching this, it seems interesting enough so far, and from the third episode and the preview of the next one it seems like the show is gonna get really brutal, the teen drama was bad in the first 2 episodes but gets wrapped up between the main characters fairly quickly.

I'm really ashamed to admit I watched and enjoyed the first season. Lots of teen drama; it's like Dawson's Creek on a post-apocalyptic Earth. I didn't even know the 2nd season started.

soooo i randomly read this thread and then decided to marathon the show over the last week. the YA novel teen drama bullshit and a lot of the acting is beyond cringe worthy BUT the story telling is actually pretty awesome.

The last minute was the only redeeming thing about this episode.. other than that all I kept thinking to myself was how retarded everyone on this show was becoming. Glad he died and she didn't go with Raven's plan, because killing the leader and starting a war to save his sorry ass what pants on head stupid. Now if they could only kill a few more characters off this might get really good.

I would have sacrificed him long ago lol. But then again the kid tried to bum rush him and got shot, and so did the others. But clarke was right, she did kill way more lol. But then again it was self defense.
I'm surprised they couldn't just fight them off with their guns lol. Bunch of idiot natives gonna run into machine gun fire? Should have macguyvered some bombs or something to save the day like the usualy do. Maybe make some anti monster mazer cannon to zap them if they try to attack.
Don't see how the commander is the leader anyways. She's pretty cute though, surprised those brutes don't rape her and seize control. Would think tara's crazy mom would be the real leader.

The difference is that Clarke killed warriors that attacked them; Finn shot up a bunch of innocent people in the village. And I'm guessing most people except for the kid were farmers etc.

That being said, I would have sacrificed him a long time ago too. He did commit a crime, and if sacrificing him means saving the all of the survivors, and a chance at getting the 42 back, I don't see why that would be an issue. No one asked Finn what he wanted, either. It was obvious that he wanted to agree to their terms, it was everyone else refusing to do so.
