2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced a $29.99 Season Pass for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Four add-on packs, each priced at $9.99 individually, will be released following the launch of the game on October 14 in North America and October 17 internationally. The Season Pass will grant users access to all four.

Additionally, 2K announced consumers who pre-order the game will receive the “Shock Drop Slaughter Pit” add-on. Players who don’t pre-order the game will be able to purchase this content at a later date.

They did a good job with all the DLCs iirc. The hunter one was a bit meh, but overall all 4 were solid

I really want to get this game, but I can't bring myself to pay $60 for a rehash. I'd pay $40-50 new, but $60 for a PC download is looking a bit much.

Just a heads up to anyone looking to buy this, nVidia is giving out codes for the game with GTX 770/780/780ti/Titan Black edition GPUs. While most people won't be looking to buy these cards any time soon, the codes for the game are going for $15-35 on eBay. got mine for $25

So I went to the Gearbox PAX panel and they gave out the Season Pass for free. I now regret not having bought 1+2 during Steam summer sale. Do I need to play both 1 and 2 for pre-sequel? People were telling me 2 was much better?

If you're going to play them both, play them in order. Otherwise you can just do 2. But don't play them out of order; 2 will ruin the experience of 1, both story and gameplay.
