That was a great episode until the ending came out of nowhere. Felt super rushed and kinda bad. I don't know why they didn't give the climax a couple more episodes to make the final battle feel a little bit more epic. Was going so well too...

Feels like two more episodes would have been about perfect. Budgets gonna budget, though. I was looking over on the wiki the other day and apparently not only is the LN series still ongoing, but so is the manga adaptation, a 4-koma series and a Chaika in high school variant. Shame that the end wound up so rushed, was a pretty good series to come up to a mediocre end like this.
