make sure the emulator is forced to use the video card and not the intel onboard CPU
most laptops have a system called Optimus which makes them switch back and forth depending on real video usage vs youtube
It's being run off the video card (First thing I made it do rly)
and game is an iso being run off the SSD
Have also tried 1.10, 1.21, and 1.30 versions of the emulator. Same issue with all 3
Try changing the preset to 3 or 4 if you haven't already.
Preset? how do you do that?
and if it matters at all
Plays psp emulator just fine (well the audio is choppy but the games themselves work )Code:Host Machine Init: Operating System = Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit Physical RAM = 8088 MB CPU name = Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz Vendor/Model = GenuineIntel (stepping 09) CPU speed = 2.293 ghz (8 logical threads) x86PType = Standard OEM x86Flags = bfebfbff 7fbae3bf x86EFlags = 28100000

It's a slider along the bottom of the setup gui.
The higher you turn it up, the faster the game should run, but you risk encountering more problems in game. generally up to 3 or 4 is fine on a lot of games.
Preset 4 seems to be going smoothly, thanks
No problem, it makes a pretty huge difference on most games.
I'm assuming Dynasty Warriors isn't going to work at all?
There's gonna be a ton of games that won't work at a decent speed with that cpu no matter what you do.
Ya, that CPU is pretty low powered for PCSX2. It likes 4ghz+ really to run well.
