I wouldn't normally interject that story here, but since CS is graduating from the same place I got my AA, he might run into the same issue.

Totally forgot that Dethklok song existed. Well done.
Did you even read my post? The guy mispronounced my name when I walked across the stage.
Yeah pretty sure I did that day, check mid December lol. I was so pissed that I pulled out my phone and bitched about it on Facebook immediately.
My boyfriend was in the audience and texted me about it, he was a lot more amused than I was.
how do you get julia wrong?
They said "Julie" which aggravates the fuck out of me.
Ouch
and looks like they're gonna let me walk after all. >tfw nobody to invite lulz
What if somebody called you Jules
Congrats man! Enjoy this time and these upcoming weeks.
And mad respect for that GPA. Also, knowing dat coursework and your understandings you'll post occasionally. Atta kid
Re: Julie vs Julia? Maybe his voice just fluttered and failed at a poor time.. just couldn't get that 3rd syllable?
lol no, it's indefensible I think. 1 job to do and all
aks you should change your name to jenny. no one ever gets jenny wrong, and its not too far from julia.
plus, then you have all those forrest gump references.
If only my GPA was that good...
My transcript was like As & Bs and on scholarship and then FFXI-brb-2+ years of Ws, Cs, and Fs.. then As & Bs til degree get. I think I have 7 total Fs on my transcript. It's an AAA-FF-AAA sandwich of sorts along a timeline.
Final cumulative GPA was like 2.97 and many companies wouldn't talk to Rora -- not at 3.0+ GPA. I told a few how I felt (tactfully) about that line in the sand.
My QPA is a 3.589... I'd really like to get it up to 3.6 before graduation. It would definitely make grad school easier to get into.
I graduate on Tuesday. I signed a contract to be a 7th grade science instructor last month. Super happy to have my bachelor's. Gonna try to get a working visa to teach English overseas in Asia somewhere. Preferably Japan. Need to do my time in Arizona first to relinquish myself of a grant that I took though. Life starts for me soon! Congrats to all fellow graduates!
have fun yelling at kids for writing pen15 on everything

Ahh 34 credits of "Pass.0." Gotta love med school (I cry inside a little every day).
And done! Got bottlenecked towards the end but it made for a relatively easy last semester at least.
