If you can't get a code, I -think- you can get one in the rereleases of red, blue, or yellow and pokebank it to sun/moon in the future. Which is probably the route I will go since I missed the code as well. x.x Stupid Gamestops around me all ran out long before I realized that I shouldn't be lazy about going.

Can pokebank gen 1 to sun/moon but not gen 1 to oras/xy.

And there's ways to get mew in gen 1.

Unless they add a restriction to transferring Mew from Gen 1, similar to how they prevented Arceus caught in hall of origins from being transferred (will probably make it so if owner isn't "GF", won't go through, cause jp got event mew for buying these).

Also still looking for help trade evolving 8ish pokemon to finish national and getting my shiny charm.

Edit: nvm, thanks to GTS, I now have all non-event pokemon and completed national dex and got shiny charm! Time to masuda IV breed some shinies!
