Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have announced Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, due out worldwide for 3DS in November.

Described as a fresh take on the original Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, which launched for Game Boy Advance in 2003, the new titles promise to take players through “a dramatic story within a spectacular new world.”

After Black and White 2, I fully expect them to release sequels to both versions of X and Y and all the future generations lol. Probably makes them more money.

And yeah, was not expecting this so soon. Really hoping all the good stuff in X and Y makes it into these remakes.

X and Y was a pretty empty game compared to a lot of the recent ones, I assumed it was because it was growing pains because they were making their first full-3D Pokemon. Hopefully this game will have a bit more. I remember being a teen playing R/S for the first time and really loving the postgame where you had to solve braille puzzles, dive underwater and navigates lots of caves, so hopefully this game follows suit. I heard the press release for this game said something about it being a new take, so it's possible it's a sequel of some sort, but we'll see.

Another interesting note I heard from people who screwed with the XY data was that they apparently removed detailed contest data (AKA Sheen etc) from the Pokemon transferred to gen 6. I'd be pretty disappointed if they removed contests since those were actually pretty fun.

X/Y Felt empty since it also felt like they were leaving the potential of DLC being added eventually but guess instead we'll be getting remakes lol. I wouldn't have minded if they threw in old regions as $5 or so DLC but this will make them much more money.

so if people haven't noticed the "added lines" on each legendary have been present since the first games during the opening scenes each legendary would glow (i have no problem with them getting mega's but at least give us mega Swampert and Sceptile)

Poke'mon is probably the only game series that could put up a trailer of just box art, not even game play and get millions hyped to buy day 1.
