I find it interesting that Ed Boon knows that blocking is a very love/hate thing, and he makes sure to make it know. I wonder what his thoughts on blocking are.
Doesnt make a lick of difference either way to me though. One would figure if they wanted to it would be quite simple to have a mode/option to disable blocking, but that would be too logical.
I really don't play many fighters so can someone explain to me what the significance of a block button is? Like can't you block in SF?
you block in SF by holding back or down and back. hold back to block high, hold down back to block low.
however in MK... you can just hold block down and tap your stick down if yo uneed to block low. shits stupid.
with a block button you can't get hit with a left/right mixup. in injustice the MK scrubs were constantly being blown up by a simple jumpover.
http://www.vg247.com/2014/06/11/mort...s-blood-flies/Mortal Kombat X has received a batch of incredibly detailed screens out of E3 2014. As you’d expect, there will be blood, and lots of new character shot too.
It follows the first Mortal Kombat X gameplay footage, which was shown on Sony’s E3 2014 stage earlier this week. Battles are fast as you’d expect, but now throw in a new degree of stage interaction, similar to Injustice: Gods Among Us.
The screens above showcase new fighters, starting with Ferra & Torr. The duo are essentially a young girl riding on the back of a hulking warrior.
Then there’s D’Vorah, a winged female character capable of controlling insects, along with Aztec badass Kotal Kahn.
Although she’s not pictured, Mortal Kombat X will also feature Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade’s daughter Cassie.
Story spans from end of MK9 to 25 years later
D'Vorah confirmed to mean Debra in Hebrew by UltraDavid. He said he can almost guarantee NRS didn't mean to do that and just wanted to create an exotic name lol. Shame block button is confirmed and the jump arcs still look like booty butt cheeks.
According to an article on NAMELESS the demo build of the game shows 24 character slots, which with 3 variations per character effectively means 72 playable.
Super Mortal Kombat Bros.
Bah, parts of me hope they just put the block style they used in Injustice into MKX, still gonna play it because MK will always hold a special place in my heart.
Hey, somebody has to fill the Roll tier
Spoiler: show

Fuck Raiden, confirm Kabal already.. please?
