I figured I would post the vid that supposedly was recorded by the shooter Elliot Rodger, of the manifesto recorded and uploaded to you tube before the crime spree.

The Blaze article lists some of the exact text that is on the video I posted but the you tube they have linked has been removed so I went to find another and put it in the slot on the article. The text of some of the things he says in the manifesto is posted below he vid. Link is below with the content warning.

Seven Slain, More Wounded in UC Santa Barbara Drive-By Shooting Rampage

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) — A gunman went on a drive-by shooting rampage in a Santa Barbara student enclave and at least seven people were killed, including the attacker, authorities said.

Investigators believe a gunman driving a black BMW acted alone in the shootings late Friday night near the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown confirmed at a news conference early Saturday that seven people were killed, including the gunman, and seven wounded.

Brown said the suspect exchanged gunfire with deputies and then drove off and crashed into a parked car.

Deputies found the suspect inside the BMW dead from a gunshot wound to the head. But the sheriff said he did not know if the suspect was shot and killed by deputies or if the wound was self-inflicted. A semiautomatic handgun was recovered.

It wasn’t immediately clear what touched off the gunfire or what the suspect’s motivation might have been. The sheriff said that the circumstances surrounding the shootings were under investigation.

Brown said the shootings occurred at several sites in the town, resulting in nine crime scenes.

Santa Barbara County sheriff’s spokeswoman Kelly Hoover told KEYT-TV the gunfire broke out around 9:30 p.m. Friday in the Isla Vista neighborhood.

A student told the station he saw shots fired from a BMW, fatally striking one woman and critically injuring another woman.

“I heard shots, scream, pain,” Michael Vitak said. “All emotions. I hope she is going to be fine.”

The station said a black BMW slammed into as many as two cars.

The shooting prompted officials to issue alerts urging people to stay indoors.

Isla Vista is known for parties, including an annual spring bash that turned into a violent blowout last month as young people clashed with police and tossed rocks and bottles. A university police officer and four deputies were injured and 130 people were arrested.

The drive-by shooting rampage that rocked Santa Barbara, California Friday night may have been a premeditated mass murder, ABC reports Sheriff Bill Brown as saying, and the suspected shooter may have left behind video detailing murderous intentions.

The Friday night shooting left at least seven dead, local authorities said, including the suspected shooter. Seven more were wounded.

Local newspaper the Santa Barbara Independent is reporting that the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department is reviewing as evidence a YouTube video in which 22-year-old Elliot Rodger declares his intention to “slay” residents of Isla Vista, the college neighborhood adjacent to Santa Barbara.

Rodger declares that the video will be his last, and laments a life of loneliness.

“Girls gave their affection and sex and love to other men but never to me,” he says.

“All those girls that I’ve desired so much, they would’ve all rejected me and looked down upon me as an inferior man if I ever made a sexual advance towards them while they throw themselves at these obnoxious brutes,” Rodger says to the camera.

Rodger then promises violence.
“I’ll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you,” he says.

“You will finally see that I am in truth the superior one the true alpha male.”

“After I’ve annihilated every single girl in the sorority house,
I’ll take to the streets of Isla Vista and slay every single person I see there.”

“If I can’t have you, girls, I will destroy you.”

Speculation on the Internet suggests Rodger may be the son of Hunger Games assistant director Peter Rodger and stepson of Soumaya Akaaboune (from the cast of TV show ‘Les Vraies Housewives’).

ISLA VISTA, Calif. — A Hollywood director and his family say they warned police about disturbing videos weeks before a shooting rampage they believe their son committed near a Santa Barbara university left seven people dead, including the attacker.

Alan Shifman, attorney for Peter Rodger, assistant director of The Hunger Games series, said the family has been told their son is dead after killing six people late Friday night. The family has not yet seen his body.

Shifman said family members called authorities several weeks ago after being alarmed by YouTube videos "regarding suicide and the killing of people."

Police interviewed Elliot Rodger and found him to be a "perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human," Shifman said. Authorities did not find a history of guns, but did say the 22-year-old had trouble making friends, he added. Authorities have not yet confirmed the identity of the shooter.

NewsChannel 3 witnessed forensics experts removing three bodies from the Capri apartment complex on the 6500 block of Seville Road Saturday afternoon.

There is no confirmation from authorities whether this latest discovery increases the number of people killed, which stands at seven, including the gunman.
