Saw it tonight. Glorious doesn't do any justice. Unfortunately it wasn't as moving as Training Day but still just as enjoyable.

I could be wrong, but did they ever show him die? My memory is hazy of a ~15 year old movie, but didnt they just show him get in the car and it was assumed he was killed?

book, quite different. the girl is raped and found dead, he goes off the deep end and slaughters them all, fakes his death and goes off to be with some chick he met
