To clarify, I was lowering the resolution in windower, which obviously then made FFXI not be full screen.

I'm looking for a combination of
a) runs full screen
b) can be alt-tabbed out of
c) doesn't run like butt

So next time I'm at my friend's house, I'll try dropping the desktop resolution a bit and see what happens.
