From here. And it looks like 2 people in a dyed High Allagan pieces looking towards the top of the tower where Xande is.

Based on those screenshots they appear to be NPCs as they only appear in the shots w/ Rammbroes/Cid and not with actual players.

Betting they're Doga/Unei/Alalgans awoken from statsis chambers etc etc

Trailers like this one makes me happy to pay a monthly submission fee. They are doing such a great job.

Wish it was blue instead because it's the superior color.

Have to admit they have done a damn good job on this one, but hey they start to actualy look around for inspiration, its good to see they might come out of their tunnel vision.

It would have been more in line with FFIII if they sent us to Forbidden City of Eureka then Syrcus after, it would have made more sense, however.

I don't know if its been asked, but what are those gearsets being worn during the monster hunt portion? Also, the tank gear worn during the Stone Vigil HM portion is sick. Semi-crested helm!

Also, I thought I saw a dyed allagan shield? It looked way darker than usual

Yeah that new gears probably sets from the hunts currency vendor, or from the new instances. I'm sort of saddened I will be done with my Novus before 2.3... ;/ then again, it will just speed up the slower people, and making the materia prices for IV go flying through the roof if not already (IV Det materia reached 400K at one point the other day).

Sort of hoping, they make a new way to obtain materia (like that desynthesis thing at higher ranks of desynth skill).

That's from discussions with Yoshida forever ago when the plan was to keep upgrading in 2.25 and 2.3. With the delay of the Novus stuff to 2.28 and the mention that more ways to get Alexandrite will be in 2.3, I doubt the next step will happen until 2.35 or something.

I'm amazed at the people who think there won't be another upgrade because then "it will compete with coil gear and that just can't be so"
