this is the first time since Garuda we've encountered a Primal w/ a VA (Ifrit had VO during one of the trailers though)

actual plot development is nice, i was feeling despondent we wouldn't get Ascian shit since we didn't w/ 2.2 and I figured it'd be another primal-centric patch

also glad to see they're using that floating head model they had of Melusine, though it looks slightly more like someone else we know... not to mention they seemed to give Tam-Tara a whole new extended theme instead of the little beginning ditty

Hullbreaker Isle reuses some 1.0 music again, hype
FF3 music was played during the Personal Room exposition

Xande, First Emperor of Allag, is on top of the Crystal Tower (WOW SURPRISE RIGHT LOL) and speaks. Hype. We should get a monologue before/after that fight and it should start filling in holes.
Zodiark/Ascian/looks like 12 Ascians representing something? Twelve Scions of Light from XII or maybe the Twelve? Should get some good Lore there.
We should get confirmation on various Mistbeard shits in Hullbreaker Isle.
Carteneau Flats as a battleground is beginning to sound more plausible, and the music is p hype.

Tam-Tara (Hard) is basically FF14 : Dark Souls.

Didn't think I'd ever be happy to enter Tam-Tara again, but the Hard Mode looks quite cool. Looking forward to everything!

I didn't expect Limit Break being allowed in Frontline.

Also, I really like that they designed the new CT sets around bosses.

I know it's based off something else, but as over the top as the BRD set looks, it kinda has some Kam'lanaut vibes with the guy they got in it.

I will likely not look like giant gold brock sampson in the tank set.
