@Darklad: Nothing from Ahista will work with Windower, and nothing from Windower will work with Ashita. They are two entirely different projects with different system cores so their plugin interfaces are not at all compatible.
@Scizor: You can find most of the plugins / addons here:
- Plugins: http://www.ffevo.net/forum/96-member-plugins/
- Addon information: http://ashita.ffevo.net/docs/doku.php?id=ashitav2:start
I have not had the time to work on the wiki to add the plugins there yet. But hopefully in time I will get to it.
Am I wrong in saying there is a 6th setting necessary for Ashita POL language?
Currently there is:
1) default
2) Japanese
3) English
4) European (french)
5) European (german)
There should be a 6th, 6) European (english).
I have EU POL, I play in english, but Ashita launches only if I select 4) or 5).
Thing is... I don't want neither French nor German, but English.
If I select 3) it sets the profile to US POL and it cannot find the right information in the registries and, henceforth, POL doesn't even launch
The POL language is simply to let Ashita know where to look for your install path in the registry. It does not define the language that is used within the game.
That is based on the POL you have installed and so on.
Any European language shares the same registry key 'PlayOnlineEU'. Which is all that Ashita uses that for. The 'Resource Language' is what handles what resources are used internally for Ashita. However, since SE discontinued the translations of the game, there is no longer support for any of the EU languages. Thus it was removed from Ashita as well.
Ashita v2.1.0.0 Released
- Increased ASHITA_INTERFACE_VERSION to 1.03.
- Removed double loading of resources. (Should help speed up load times a little.)
- Added AntTweakBar UI implementation from original Ashita v1 (credit to RZN for the original version).
- Added input handling for the new UI. New UI should have priority over everything else.
- Added UI rendering after all other rendering. It should be drawn over every other object. (Including plugins.)
New (but old) UI System
Like we had in Ashita v1, we have reintroduced the UI system into the game. After much hassle and headache with Gwen and how poorly it is written, I opt'd to just say fuck it to using it and went back to the old system we used in v1. This system, while limited, did work great for what it offers, so I have reimplemented it.
An example of how it looks:
Both plugins and addons can take advantage of the UI system and create fun and unique UI's to extend their alterations even more.
Plugin developers can read the Ashita.h header for more information.
Addon developers can find more information regarding the Gui_ functions added to Addons.dll here:
http://ashita.ffevo.net/docs/doku.ph...:api:functions
More info and continued development for the new UI system can be found on our forum here:

You just might get a hefty number of people trying it with that quick fix. Except the servers went down. XD
Sorry if wrong place to ask. In Ashita, I am wondering if there is a way to disable gamepad on one instance, while the other runs with "/gamepad allowbackground" on. My goal is to dual box two characters on one PC, so that one is controlled by keyboard, while the other is controlled by gamepad.
I need help with Ashita 2
Is there an Ashita equivalent for the Windower Cancel plugin? I looked through the plugins/addons and didn't see anything but figured I would ask to make sure
The debuff addon does this, i believe it is included by default. /debuff <id> (or) /cancel <id>
At the moment there is no easy to do method to fully block the gamepad in a single instance. I can look into adding this though when I get some time.
You are going to need to be more specific than that to get support.
Addons are not included by default to help slim down the install package. And with Ashita our installer is simply the exe. We like to keep it simple for users. So if you need any addons / plugins in the future be sure to check the launcher first. Afterward, if you do not find what you need there, check our forums here:
http://www.ffevo.net/forum/94-ashita-v2/
If you still can't find it, feel free to make a request post over on our forums.
