So from what I've been able to tell, counter has a hard cap of 80%.

That said, just trying to see what I'm shooting for in gear.

I'm assuming counter and counter II don't stack, so base value of 12?

How much counter are on spharai 119?

counterstance is +45, +60 with reforged relic+1?

Just trying to see if paying 2m in upgrade items is worth going from 109 relic to 119 relic (as it's only going to be a macro piece anyways, so if I'm capping counter w/o upgrading, then no reason to)

119 has +14 counter, +12 base so you cap counter under CounterStance with just Melee Gaiter's +2 (or plain old Melee Gaiters and at least 4 counter merits)

Regardless whether you're formally capping counter with a 99 relic, your counter rate is going to be shit due to the lack of H2H skill (Acc) on your weapon.

It's mainly for shit that I'm soloing (like salvage); I haven't used it in any difficult content in fear of being dropped with the quickness

Is there anything Counterstance is still viable on? Ouryu V2?

You can use it on Ouryu but its not necessary and doesn't really make it any easier, just seems to increase chance of getting eaten by melee hits before whm can react.

I haven't bothered using Counterstance for anything since they changed monster ratio caps.
