Wait is this going to also be a physical card game?

There are pledge rewards that give people play test kits with physical cards and mats so people can play with the first set while we finish development.

Those cards are subject to change before launch but a majority should remain intact. After that we will release online sets progressively then make them available physically after an online beta balance period to lower the need for errata. If the plan fully goes through, people will be able to get fifty card stacks printed and shipped on demand (for a small price) in exchange for the digital cards becoming account bound and not able to be traded in for currency.

We're still working out the details there but we want people to have a game they can keep a physical version of but let them build their physical library through their digital one.

We've been demoing the physical version for about eight months now at Apex, Pax East and UFGT10. We know people want to experiment and the game is polished as an analog alpha.

I can understand not wanting to do both at the same time, but it's a shame you won't be able to say at PAX Prime "and our kickstarter is up right now" after running a demo.
But you still have yet to see a PA front page bump, those usually happen if a KS has Gabe and Tycho in the stretch goals.

why wait? kickstarters never bill you until they're funded and time on the stretch goals runs out. and there could be others out there, saying the same as you, who are unaware of that fact. so pledging now may convince others to pledge.
