so yesThe name and appearance of the following items have been changed:
daggers were stupid as fuck anyway, glad they're getting rid of them for continuity. Gladius still technically count as swords but I'm not sad about those leaving either. Might get a nice new glamour option for my Curtana/Burtgang (I find both to look horrible). looks like I'll probably be spamming NQ Haukke for that tuck
They're probably just texture changes of one or two old models, and maybe one new model.
I presume that does not apply to Dated daggers, as they are not listed.
Had I thought about a glamour system, my last days in 1.23 would have been spent somewhat differently...
I'm pretty sure this is referring to who can open the chest not the loot limit. The loot limit part clearly states that anything you obtain from the list locks you out. It doesn't discriminate based on what the item is or where it came from.- Rewards in Syrcus Tower
You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in Syrcus Tower. In the event you are awarded an item from the loot list, you relinquish your right to vie for all remaining items regardless of whether you selected Need or Greed. If time expires and a reward item is obtained automatically, this will also count toward the weekly limit.
* Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 8:00 (GMT).
Each party in the alliance will receive its own treasure chest, the contents of which will be identical regardless of the route taken.
* Players cannot open a treasure chest belonging to another party.
A fourth treasure chest may occasionally appear upon defeating the last boss of Syrcus Tower. The above restrictions do not apply to this treasure chest.
I missed that, so thanks. Good to hear. I know how short a gladius is, and I understand that short-swords were used back in the day (usually made of bronze or brass), but were only used for stabbing, so unless they were going to only allow glads to stab when using them, it was a silly thing to do.
It just made me go back to the days of slashing around with a fencing degen like it was a lightsaber and how stupid it looked. Lazy, lazy, lazy.
Oh good, finally. This is definitely what was missing from the game for me.Retainers will now occasionally use the /yes emote when returning from a venture.
But seriously, not having quite hit endgame yet I'm most interested in the hunt system, I'm glad they implemented something like that. Looks fun. I wonder how elite marks will work though. Considering there seem to be conditions under which they appear, I doubt they would be something you pop yourself...so maybe they appear every time that condition is met for the week they are available and work more like FATEs.
I hope that it will require you to have a hunt tag for you to engage them, rather just engage whenever and have some random dick killing things for no rime or reason potentially fucking you on a KV esq. hunt monster like thunderstorm in south thanalan between 22:00 - 00:00 ET
HAS ANYONE POINTED OUT THAT YOU CAN NOW HAVE AS MANY SEATING MODULES AS YOU WANT?!
This is the best thing. Bean bags for everyone.
Thanks for reminding me (since it's right above that):
Spoiler: show
Grid dummies look atrocious and can't believe I never noticed Coerthas dummies have no discernable front or back.
Ul'dah master race, as always.
With all due hope the mobs will faceroll anyone trying to solo or duo. That or have a speedy pop timer.
I doubt most will be able to solo S and A rank Elites.
Treasure maps v2.3
Look fo-.....nvm I just can't do this anymore.
Yeah honestly, with R10 choco I can't imagine it will be too bad. I already solo almost all of the Peisteskin maps with my chocobo on WAR.
Would you say that a rank7 chocobo (choco surge) is sufficient for peisteskin? How much of a difference does choco medica make?
