Always said kupo as "kyu-poh", Qufim as "kwih-fim", Ramuh as "rah-moo", and Bostaunieux Oubliette as "Boston Omelette".

Which is exactly what was in the google translate link.Rama (राम, Rāma)
Thats not the name used in FF. Its based on it. I know people NAMED Ramoo. Fucking christ. If Rama was meant to be the name, it would've been spelled Ramah. The fact that it's Ramuh means they are going for the name derived from it.
And just to reiterate. You are arguing with an Indian man who speaks fluent hindi and has spent half his life in India about how to to pronounce hindi names. Just stahp.
nah it's probably ruh-muh! that's how i pronounce it.
So reading over that article got me thinking that the lightning particles dispersed about the battlefield most likely give a buff that can dispel the bind that was mentioned. It'd make a lot of sense if you had to coordinate who grabbed particles to dispel binds but I wonder if it'd be possible for groups to wipe themselves by wasting particles if that's really the case. I could easily see someone trolling a group or bad players eating a ton of particles if you interacted with them by just having to run through.
No one else pronounce it as RAY-MUH?
Bah-hah-moot ruined my life. Years of Baha-mutt ftl. At least I learned how to pronounce TYE-TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN thanks to A Realm Reborn. Also, Leviathan, Leviathan. (help us)
It's Rah-moo, but I've said Rah-muh for years. I'm not a linguist, qq.
Who the fuck pronounces it "lie-toe-ning"?
So, how 'bout them roooooooooooooooo-ga-dins.
My god this thread just had me laughing for a good while. Echoing "Ram-muh" and also echoing that bahamoot flipped my world upside down.
also fucking lol @ Boston Omelette
I recall a pretty small and slow-to-execute AoE being around Ramuh in the video that the PLD could have taken. I'm wondering if standing in the extreme circular puddle is the something a tank wouldn't want to do or there's a purpose to intentionally eating the AoE. My money is on that when a player standing in the water takes damage or receives a debuff, it's distributed to everyone... or something along those lines.
Boston Omlette.
My sides.
Rah-muh with a very soft muh XD
