Have my goldsmithing desynth skill at 71 and on level 49/50 normal items i'm getting .02-.1 skill points per. doing aetheryte 1 star i'm getting .08-.14 or so.
Anybody have a rip of the new music? I would love to get my hands on it (sorry if it was posted and i missed it, i checked this thread and have not seen it
so for marks just spam elite fuck Normal?
I might be powerfully retarded but what do I need to do to have access to the new crafts (Dodore stuff, pajamas, etc)
I've desynthed the fish - leveled up from 0 to 83.72 so far.
Out of 277 desynths I got:
- 195 fine sands
- 32 fine sands HQ
- 1x clear demimateria II
- 1 grade 3 clear prism
- 1x yellow pigment
- 8 green pigment
- 8 red pigment
- 2x blue pigment
- 9x grey pigment
- 1x brow pigment
- 2x grade 5 dark matter
- 1x clear demimateria III (desynth 80+)
Used all big fish for desynth - of course higher ilvl gives higher desynth gains - ilvl80 fish give ~0.3-0.4 per desynth for 50% chance.
I think Tam Tara HM is gonna be the SR in future.
Very quick dungeon compared to Hullbreaker Isle and Stone Vigil HM.
Closest thing to the rip I know of is here. https://soundcloud.com/ffxiv/
Regarding The Hunt: This confuses the hell out of me regarding the asterisked /purple text.
New marks will be posted on the Hunt board at the following times:
Regular mark bills: Daily at 8:00 a.m. (PDT)
Elite mark bills: Weekly on Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)
* Regular mark bill targets will differ from player to player. Elite marks will be the same for all players.
Before acquiring mark bills from the Hunt board, players must first complete one of the following quests:
Quest - Required Level - and Location
Let the Hunt Begin (Maelstrom) Disciple of War or Magic level 50 Limsa Lominsa - Upper Decisk (X:12 Y:12)
NPC: Trachraet
Let the Hunt Begin (Twin Adder) Disciple of War or Magic level 50 New Gridania (X:9 Y:11)
NPC: Scarlet
Let the Hunt Begin (Immortal Flames) Disciple of War or Magic level 50 Ul'dah - Steps of Nald (X:8 Y:9)
NPC: Mimio Mio
* Players are free to pursue elite mark enemies without completing the above quests.
So do I just need to understand the difference between elite marks and regular marks or is this a type o? What confuses me is the quest part and why one does not require the quests but the other does.- Mark Bills
At each Grand Company headquarters, players will find a Hunt board upon which mark bills have been posted. There are two types of mark bills: regular mark bills, which are posted once per day, and elite mark bills, which are posted once per week. These bills list the name and number of targets to be hunted, their location, and the reward being offered for their defeat.
- Regular and Elite Marks
While regular marks denote enemies commonly found in the wilds of Eorzea, elite marks denote powerful enemies that only appear under certain conditions. They are ranked according to the risk they pose: rank B (lowest risk), rank A, and rank S (highest risk). In addition to the bounties listed on the Hunt board, elite marks will yield rewards including Allied Seals, Allagan tomestones of mythology, and Allagan tomestones of soldiery. Players are free to pursue elite marks without procuring an elite mark bill from the Hunt board, but they will not be eligible for the bounties stated on the bill. To learn more of the nature of these elite marks, players can consult the hunter-scholars stationed at every hamlet about Eorzea.
Well the easy way to think of it, is normal marks are normal mobs/fate bosses that simply get flagged to be killed for the bill (think hunting log or animus book). So the only real way to get seals from them is through the bill.
The Elite Marks are unique "NMs" that have unique spawn mechanics and no set spawn location (other than zone). These are much stronger mobs that will grant you seals, myth, sold without a bill. However, if you have a bill for the Elite and kill it you get a bonus for the bill.
Damn Tam Tara is depressing :D
But yeah, seems pretty fast.
@dgsm75. Darklight gear is 60% sucessrate...
End result was .25exp(a lot), crystals(not clusters), and a rose gold ingot from bracelets
Edit: values @75:
i90 not available(?)
i80 gear desynth is 40%
i70 gear is 60%
Is there a place that lists the stats on the new CT gear? I've been perusing screenshots, but haven't found what I want to know about (tank hands, mainly -- I refuse to buy the steaming shit that is soldiery hands, and most of the bard gear). xivdb hasn't updated yet (anyone know when they might?)
