oh, damn I forgot all about that thing, thanks
Can confirm that both Boar and Pieste can drop unhidden maps. We went 2/8 on unhiddens (1 from each type). Both unhiddens dropped the mist silk. Anyone know the pajama mats?
Patch notes state it. Search for "Crescent Moon". Yes, the pajamas appear to be the only thing that use the Mist Silk. They all take one except the body, which takes two.
Ah, the gown actually takes two, as to be expected
I was so used to running CT1 runs and mindlessly lotting everything that dropped that I ended up winning an Amon's Sash and couldn't lot on the MNK body or tomestone that dropped from Xande. Saddest day everrr.
Tomestone dropped from the 4th chest? I thought the update notes stated that those do not count toward the weekly quota.
Double-flaring appears to be dead. Flare now removes Umbral Ice at the beginning of the cast animation, so your refresh tick isn't enough to allow another cast.
Hanging out in some random full party waiting for my elite hunt and the casuals are PISSED about the hunts so far.
I'd expect riots and a fix in not too long.
In case anyone is curious about the new DoH accessories, their max melds:
Rose gold choker: control+4, craftsmanship+4, CP+6
Mosshorn earring: control+4, craftsmanship+4, CP+6
Dodore belt: control+5, craftsmanship+4, CP+3
Tripled checked them to make sure.
They fucking pop about 150+ times a week. People need to calm the fuck down and realize you don't have to finish everything in the first hour.
Well I think a big problem is that we had 30+ people in the region and it popped and died in about 10 seconds before anyone could dream of getting to it. That's the bullshit.
meh it sucks but it's par for course on day 1 of this kind of shit.
Seriously, get these people off my lawn immediately.../dragonsaeryvietnamflashbacks. The one good thing about XI's ridiculous system was that I think it upped my general patience levels by about 10,000%.
I'll focus on MSQ / CT / new dungeons when I get home; may poke around hunts late tonight when the population dies down a bit.
Eh, seems pretty par for their failure to dynamically scale FATEs while they're happening instead of the next time they pop. And while I would expect interest to die down some as time progresses, you will still have those who dislike dungeon spamming and would rather hunt these mobs. Waiting anywhere from 5-30m and to just miss something because you couldn't run across the zone in time sucks. The only real "fix" I could see is allowing players to instead pop the given marks if they've got the daily/weekly bill flagged. Plan B would be more like Rift's approach to zone-wide events where taking out secondary mobs would still net you overall credit at the end. But Yoshi seems oddly against that kind of wide-scale open world activity.
