Oh, fieldcraft also comes from crafting gear desynths, not just gatherer gear, in case that needs being said.

4 silver pieces + 4 gold ore hq from miner
4 silver + 3 hippogryph skin hq from acn
4 silver + giant catfish hq from fisher
4 silver + 3 black truffle hq from btn

4 silver + 3 hippogryph skin hq from archer
4 silver + 3 coeurl skin hq from acn
4 silver + mossy stone sword from thm
(last retainer is currently hopelessly undergeared fisher)

At least it seems the 4 silver is more consistent than xiii was...so far. And wtf @ mossy weapons. Another round tomorrow.

No, I just spent the entire day at work grinding out like 60 Field Demimateria 1 in order to monopolize the market. 12 hours being the only seller and nada. Never seen this at a patch before.

Also.. update, on Goldsmith I got my Master book for 5 Fieldcraft I and 5 Battlecraft Is. What gave me the most I found was the level 32 Pugilist Main Hand for Battlecraft and the level 32 Weaver Primary for Field. Dunno if you get more for weapons/armor like that, or if accessories have the same rate, but those items cost the last mats to make.

Anyone seen a UAT in Sycrus yet? There's a comment from someone on XIVDB who claims it dropped from the last chest, but I haven't seen any other reports.

as for patch 2.3, I just got one on the last chest of Syrcus Tower (CT2). Oil dropped too.

First run ever got UAT and oil. Run after that an oil. 3rd run neither. Just the guarantee CT2 gear drop.

I too saw Oil and UAT as well as healer piece from the Xande boss on my first ever run, rolled less than 20 on both items and lost them lol. =/

The drops for every crate are confirmed on the Lodestone site. UAT and Oil are both drops in the same chest as the armor from the last boss and Sands is not a possible drop (according to old interviews, it would be added later on). They are not drops from earlier chests, only the last boss armor chest. For reference, in case anyone was still unclear, obtaining a UAT or an oil will both lock you out from obtaining anything else. We had a dragoon in our party who need lotted both the DRG body and the UAT, the UAT sorted first, and then the DRG body sorted to Greed lotters because he couldn't obtain it after getting the UAT.

There's also a second possible chest from the last boss which can have the Wind-up Onion Knight minion or the Throne Gem furniture material.
