And you're sure no one else fished one at the same time?
And you're sure no one else fished one at the same time?
It's possible someone else caught a Judgeray at the same time mine got away but whenever I am in Fallgourd Float fishing I never see anyone else fishing in town or outside.
there will never be a 100% case for things that trigger on player's action because you can never know who else is doing it.
"i did X one time and Y spawn" will never fly until no one is in zone except you
for weather type/moon phase etc, i would say its spot on so far
The gathering ones are 100% spot on as well.
Cross-posting latest discoveries for Nunyunuwi:
OK, we finally have a clue for Nunyunuwi. This time it was possible to observe the spawn happening, and because of conditionals discovered for Garlok, this was possible to theory out. Now, the details and what I want you to test on your individual servers.
Goal is to not let a single FATE expire or fail in the entirety of Southern Thanalan for over a full hour of real life time. This INCLUDES the ones you have to initiate by clicking an NPC around in the game world. These are located at (17,17) (21,19) (24,12) (19,35 (17,23). Once you accomplish not letting a single FATE fail or expire at least one hour, have a part of your people start looking for Nunyunuwi. But do not stop clearing FATEs at we don't know if each FATE cleared after the one hour period counts as one trigger each, or if the final FATE once one hour has passed is the trigger yet.
Successfully so far on Excalibur and Gilgamesh, let's confirm this one for good guys.
Is this theory been tested for multiple spawns?
So far I have only gotten replies from Gilgamesh on successful tests. But this has been in the workings for the past month now, I was only missing the bit where those five activated FATEs had to not time out as well. Once that was into the mix, the spawn was almost immediate after the 60 minute period hit. I need more testers! Please try it out yourselves.
Nice info. Was reading your OF posts, and it seems weird that Wulguru and Lamp would have the exact same spawn conditions. Is it possible one spawns from gathering/crafting leves and one spawns from battle leves?
Also, your OP seems to have a lot of the conditions still not finalized (Safat for example). Have those conditions been fully understood?
If you look at the other pairings, look closely. Croque is 1-star material, Bonnacon is 2-star. Zona Seeker is 2-star fish, Judgeray is 3-star fish. It seems that while the same system, they are different scales within the same system. So for Lampalagua and Wulgaru, one is Battlecraft leves and the other is Grand company leves. I have yet to figure which is which.
I am rewriting some of the conditions still, but yes, most conditions are at this point verified.
Read this and saw we were 28hrs into window on Leviathan. Entered zone at 20:05 and Nun eventually popped around 21:03 EST. All fates that were up were killed during the time between me entering the zone and the pop, however I didn't make it to a Qarn NPC in time to pop the Marble Golem turn in fate. I also never saw the fate for the escort from the factory to forgotten springs.
The last fate to die prior to the pop was Flamefang, but he popped far south around the "fish out of water" fate.
So hopefully this means no fates failed is ok, and you don't need to pop the NPC ones (letting them never be popped is enough).
If you eat a food and pop him, he pops instantly and directly on you. It should follow that crafting spawns are the same (or they don't pop him at all). Easy to check for others directly next to you.
Related - popped him with nq food today. Hit a few spots, arrived at the QQ circle ate one nq marmot steak and he popped on me. Had a moment to run out of aggro range.
A ranks give 20 soldi and no poetics
Checked a few of the S rank descriptions. Only noticeable change was to Safat's description, which seems to confirm "jump from great heights" over emote spam. (NA client).
A scream or two never fails to bring the Safat streaking down to it's prey, attuned as the beast is to terror and misery. Some hunters have been known to subject themselves to hair-raising experiences in order to bait the dragon. Results have been mixed
Funny part I did a few hunts to get an item for my whm. They where fun. My pt of 8 and maybe 1 or 2 ransoms made for really fun fights. Go figure.
We had a few 8 man teams that were actually pretty tough. Noteable ones included:
Vogaal Ja - All players have to stack to share gravity damage or else people start getting oneshotted.
Maahes - Petrify is near impossible for MT to run out of. Also, it stacks (with diminishing returns) So petrified people will start at 30 secs, then the buff can get reapplied at any time and will go back up to 20 secs.
Hellsclaw - People dying to Phys Reflect, but thats nothing new :D
So, coming back from the game since 2.2 and need allied seals. Whats the best way to track active hunts? I'm on excalibur and haven't seen much other than shouts for marks after they pop. Got 1 temp linkshell i guess? Why is that a thing? I got into the shell, hunted for a while, logged out and when I came back it was gone.
