That said, hunts are pretty much dead at this point. Most people have moved beyond the need for seals and only S ranks give Poetics, I've frequently seen rank As have their position shouted and still sit around untouched for quite a while, people often don't bother updating the kills on the site either.

If you need oils/sands I recommend you try ST or 2nd coil.

The Hunt has been adjusted as follows:
The number of allied seals granted upon defeating elite marks has been increased.
A Rank
Increased from 20 to 40.
S Rank
Increased from 50 to 100.

The number of allied seals granted by regular mark bills has been increased from 4 to 8 and from 10 to 20.

The number of allied seals granted by elite mark bills has been increased from 50 to 100.

Elite marks will now drop unstained mark logs instead of blood-spattered mark logs.

The following items are now available from the NPC Aelina in Mor Dhona at Revenant's Toll (X:22 Y:6):

Seeing as the new logs are 500. I'm gonna guess its the same as the last oils/sands. 2 logs/1000 seals for coat, 3 logs/1500 for twine

I'm already hearing the QQ in my mumble about it, crying that the pleabs that can't down 11 and 12 are going to be running around with upgrades that should be exclusive to groups that have been bored of FCoB since week 3.

Everyone should be "mad" but not for those reasons. Opening up twines and coats isn't the problem, it's the fact that they're putting them behind shit tier content.

I mean, this is what the devs think you should do to max your ilevel - content based around spamming flash and medica by an enemy that's effectively a target dummy as character models appear and disappear around you. The game can barely handle hunts and the developers definitely don't know how to balance them as the upcoming Hunt HP adjustments are about to prove yet again. Why would you not be upset? Literally anything else would've been more engaging, challenging, and enjoyable... even FATEs.

If there was a slug boss in this game I'd one shot it, that's how salty I am.

Unless I'm missing something... your old books aren't getting replaced, they just won't drop off elite marks anymore. Can probably still trade for oils/sands.
