    So if the person that activated your aldnoah drive dies (or fall unconscious?) it deactivates?

    Their king seems pretty old, seems like a fairly stupid choice to assassinate the princess when so much hinges on their family line surviving.

    I assume it's more in regard to the knights killing off the Princess. Two ways to look at it though. The first, the King was the first to activate the Aldnoah drive, so no one knows that if he dies, everything shuts down. The second would be that we have no idea about the structure of the royal family -- the king's children, Asseylum's siblings, etc.

    This show has been REALLY faithful to realism as far as the humans and physics are concerned. Fact is you can not die from being choked out in that length of time. You can most definitely lose consciousness, but you will not die; especially if you're found quickly. And she will be found, very quickly.

    I'd say very unlikely if not impossible she's dead. It messes with the story way too much, even for Urobuchi.

    From the timeline on the other page it doesn't seem like the current King had more than one child. He gave up his crown because he was ill and then took it back when his son died. If he had other children they should have taken over. The princess may have other siblings but there shouldn't be many as he died suddenly and young.

    Actually from the timeline the princess' father should have been in his early twenties (24 at most) as Ray Regalia had his DNA altered in 1975.

    It would be an interesting twist if they had no idea that the drives lost power without the activator being conscious/alive.

    So random talk with a buddy who is also watching, we came to the silly realization that water is important.

    2/3 of MC vs Martians were beaten with water (or rather, Martians not knowing how water works). They're on a boat. First convo of the series is about water and the sky. Slaine is saved from near-drowning in the flashbacks.

    Maybe just seeing patterns where we want to see them, idk.

    Aren't they just Humans that were born on Mars? At this point its like 1st generation Martians really. I doubt in 1-2 generations they would so arbitrarily become allergic to water, fuck they're still human, their bodies are composed primarily of water.

    To be fair, how many of those observations that Inaho has made would the average person catch and piece together? I cook a lot, so I've heard of the Leidenfrost effect before, but I wouldn't have been able to piece together that was what was happening during the second fight.
