Decided to roll since there were "two events" going on for the Genji set and the Buster Sword. Got the Genji armor and a 4* Axe. Nobody I have can use the axe, but the Genji armor boosts my Kain's Def to 144... He's kinda broken now.

so it sounds like the first roll is always a *** item... of course, that's a small sample. if anyone got a **** or ***** item from their first roll, please post here!

tutorial in this game is short enough that it might be worth rerolling if you can get better items. or it might not! lol

I just drew a 5 star genji helm myself. Gotten some other weapons mostly xii though.

me too. also just got a crystal sword (4*) from my second relic draw, which makes plowing through missions a lot faster. having two relic weapons helps a ton.

Try combining/upgrading the armor. Shouldn't cost much if it isn't rare. You'll see the difference.

good tip... I forgot all about that. a lot of my armor drops are duplicates, too. same goes for weapons. I am also on the "FFXII gear overload" train.

Upgrading the higher star items and the relic stuff can wipe out your Gil too. Tried to max one earlier and BAM... broke.

Are the mythril draws for both armor and weapons? I don't see any genji armor event, just the buster sword.

Yea, they're all in the same pool. I suspect the Buster Sword is still a lower rates than other 5*s. I did a 10+1, and got two Genji armors, one 4* weapon, one 4* armor, and the rest 3*s.

hrrrngh. I should save up for that 10 + 1, but those mythril keep burning a hole in my pocket...

also, why am I still playing this game? it's a blatant nostalgia grab with subpar graphics, a shoddy battle system and basically no story. BUT I CAN'T STOP.
