Lesser orbs have much better drop rates on Hard. I stopped running Normal after a few runs of nothing but minors. I just do Hard stage 1, then quit and repeat.

Pretty awesome game to trade off PAD with between waiting for stamina. Stamina orbs in this game is a nice touch.

Normal Weapons Factory is actually pretty easy, low stamina cost, and decent exp too. Going to need a lot of gil to use these scarletite, though.

I probably won't be ready in time. My characters are only lv20 or just shy of it and I just cleared the last normal quest. I just started farming orbs/equips for upgrades.

Ive been running the Normal Weapons Foundry. With Champion ranking it's 2900 exp per stage. Plus it helps you work towards upgrading all your weapons.

Just as I was about to say that today's hard daily is easier than yesterday's, I get 3 Behemoths in stage 1, two of which used Meteor.

And I wouldn't worry so much about exp just yet. The event dungeon runs for nearly two weeks, and is supposedly doable with 25s. You'll get another go at the exp dungeon, which should easily get you to nearly 30. So I'd be more concerned about spells and weapon / armor levels.

If you can't do hard, the full-clearing normal dailies is your best bet for both exp and mats, but there are some orbs that apparently don't drop from dailies, and only from classic and elite dungeons (like Lesser White Orbs).

Yeah my team is about 23-24 and I just run the normal daily now on auto battle because laziness then put a 2 hour timer on my phone for the next round. The daily rewards are really amazing like todays weapons daily everyone should be grinding that since they make upgrading a breeze which is really important. Tip: mastering the second elite dungeon in FFVII will give you a awesome 4 star staff for white mage that can give her a new limit break, at level 11/15 it gives a whooping 57 mind and 27 magic and without those weapon upgrades from today's daily it would be a pain in the ass to upgrade.

Going by the reddit page, you're going to want a lot of Lesser Lightning Orbs.

For Thundara you'll need (all Lesser Orbs):
8 Lightning
5 Black

For Thunder Strike you'll need:
3 Black
5 Power
3 Lightning

For Jump (can keep Kain in the party to be useful):
3 Lightning
5 Power
3 Wind

That's skipping any honing, you'll need at a minimum if you don't have the above abilities.
14 Lesser Lightning Orbs
8 Lesser Black Orbs
10 Lesser Power Orbs
3 Lesser Wind Orbs

I'm sure Sephy and Tifa will come back eventually. I doubt they would lock you out of obtaining signature characters forever because you didn't grind like crazy the first week the game was out. and if not, fuck this game! lol

Happened to me earlier today. Kain and Cloud were both basically dead, but Cloud's SB was up. Hit it and halfway into the gauge filling she turns into mist... Dead party.
