This isn't a bad game. The opening felt nice. And all music used so far is from the previous games (opening uses FF7's Prelude, I'm 99% sure).

Everything is very well presented; from the menus to the banners providing external links and such.

The sprite work is really neat; especially for the monsters.

Some reviews are complaining about the gem/stamina system. I'm not sure about anyone else, but personally I would spend no more than 30 minutes on the game unless I have absolutely nothing else to do. As of now it's replaced Candy Crush (lol, but to be fair I didn't install the game on my phone in the first place) as my "bedtime" game.

Finished the 'story' at lv 18 after FFVI SOuth Figaro Cave.

But ti seems there will be more DLC soon (probably $$$)

So now I have to Grind till i can do HArd ones iguess

I can see this begin a fun distraction when I'm on the bus or whatnot. the gameplay so far is fairly boring in comparison to F2P games with a similar structure - PAD, Terra Battle - but the nostalgia factor gives it a boost.

I doubt it will supercede my PAD addiction, but it's fun nonetheless. I wouldn't pay for it, but it's fun enough as a free game.

also, free Tidus and Warrior! that was nice. the home game boost seems to be fairly strong from what I can tell.

question: on your first relic pull, did you get the spear too? or are there other, better options? games like this, it's sometimes best to reroll if you can get better pulls on your first free one.

So far, don't really need to. I switched back to him because the relic draw was a monk weapon and as of now he's the only one that could use it for the time being.

I'm using him until i get a real old FF WHM character (Rydia WHM seems weak) and i don't wanna use the Generic WHM

I like his special. It's the only AOE at the moment that I have ran into. Well besides Rydia's summons.

For anyone curious you can beat the normal daily dungeons with a level12-15 team (heals will be needed and your mages can only take two hits)and I guess hard is 25+, the level cap is 50.

He can equip most gear and abilities but otherwise feel free to replace him, best early game team here.

EDIT: I am getting a crap load of XII equipment... Handaxes, Spears, Bucklers, etc. Have nothing for VII or X.

Same here, got xii gear out the ass. The difficulty picked up just a bit when I fought Vargas. I got careless and he took out my whm early. Second time he used doom fist on healer early on, but I managed to take him down shortly after the timer went off.

My first relic was a bastard sword, i just upgraded it to lvl 10 and damn it's pretty strong lol

mine was the Javelin. so I guess it differs. did anyone get a first relic that was more than three stars?
