I need ally friends
sent the connect
@Kuno: Thanks I'll look there tonight.
@Rata: Added you to my ally list.
I'm still debating whether or not I should buy this.... with Pokemon ORAS coming so soon and I'm still engrossed with Curtain Call xD
Fisher is boring, cooking is fun but the fact you can't cook anywhere and can't see the materials unless in cooking more, kinda sucks
10 hours in. I found out you can teleport by using the map.
I also remembered I have armor and I should upgrade it (other than weapons/accessories). This isn't monster hunter so I wasn't really getting hit so I never bothered.
Still having a blast with wizard/alchemist/miner.
I'm really loving this game; my wife enjoys it a lot too. We played some multiplayer, which was a blast, but I do wish there was a little more freedom with it in terms of changing lives and such, but it isn't that big of a deal.
I find that I am having the same issue I had with FFXI when I first started playing in that I keep switching jobs (lives) to try them all out. I'm about 16 hours in and have mostly played wizard and alchemist, but have been playing all of the crafting jobs today.
I haven't gotten this addicted to a game this quickly in a very long time. Damn you all for talking about it. I got it for my girlfriend then was like "I'll play it for 5 minutes since there's multiple save files." Three hours later and I'm still going. I only got 3.5 hours of sleep last night before work today because of this game!
Also, cook 4 life.
Damn story keeps getting in the way of my grinding.
So are there any other games like this? I love the MMO feel of it without the online crap.
I get that same offline MMO feeling from Sword Art Online, but it is a whole 'nother beast. Worth looking into though if you have a Vita.
Having a great time with this one too! I have my Hunter, Blacksmith, Carpenter, and Miner up to Expert levels. Started Cook last night, but then got disctracted Mining and then making armor and furniture... for hours.
So how do I continue the story once you open up the western grassy plains?
I can't put this game down, I keep killing my 3ds. I almost forgot you had to charge it, damn thing is like a DS3 controller.
Same here; I love this game. I wish there were more games like it. I'm trying to get to 50 so I can work on the DLC.
I just keep finding more to do.
Rune factory is similar in a lot of ways.
