Oh well good to know
It's a quest in Bentbranch. I don't know what the prereqs are though. (probably beyond lv30 and having done the quest to call your own chocobo)
Edit: Yeah, that's the correct prereq. Here's the quest that you need to have completed to do chocobo training. You'll need to be lv30 and have the ability to call your own chocobo to pick up the quest.
I would assume you have to unlock chocobo training, the quest is level 30.
edit: beated
How do you start gaining XP on Rank 10?
it's just at 0 XP atm
I though i had to wait till full XP to feed the onion and not at 0 XP
But thanks
So how do you establish a favorite food? Do you feed 10 special food back-to-back like the coloring fruits? Do you feed them when summoned in the field? Or do you just feed them once an hour for exp like Krakka Roots?
train them 10x ina row with food u want. krakka wont break streak.
Out of curiosity I cant find any info on it, how potent is the Curiel Root exp bonus?
15%
Has anyone figured out how long the stables remain clean?
Does it last a fixed amount of time or is it dependent on how many birds are stabled or how often they're trained?
One of the newbies in my FC bought a broom and it lasted about 3 days maybe? Wasn't really paying attention. We had between 3~4 birds in there.
I think my FC's stable has stayed clean for about 2 weeks now since the last time I cleaned it, we've got 2 pages full of birds.
I'd love to know, too. I have a personal house and don't like the look of the "poor" condition, so shabby! It deteriorates without being used, which is lame (imo should be based on number of times trained or something), I'd love if it just looked nice and pretty all the time. :/
If I want to get the companion exp + trait, what is the best way to go about that?
I think I need to feed with curiel roots, but is that the "train" or "feed" option?
Also I don't think I understand the second traits...something about using that food to summon them?
Not a chocobo-pro, so someone can correct me if I'm wrong here... I got my little shit to rank 11 and then said fuck it, haven't touched him in months.
1) To get the exp trait, you'll need to train with a curiel root 10x in a row (as someone mentioned above, training with krakka won't break your curiel streak, so they don't have to technically be consecutive, but any other training food will break the streak).
2) Train is for exp/trait food. Feed is just for using dye-food to change your chocobo's color.
3) The second tier of traits is, once you've done the 10x in a row thing, if summon your chocobo with the same type of food (in your case using a curiel root to call them out instead of your average gyshal greens), they'll get the 2nd tier of the trait for the duration that they are summoned.
From two posts down:
To activate the trait when ur choco is out, you have to actively feed it in the field to give them the xp buff. Just incase this wasnt clear already.
Feeding a curiel root in the field will grant the 10% buff (15% if favorite food). Buff last 30 mins.
