    SMART TV web browser

I have no experience with SMART TVs but my mom is looking to get one after having used SDTVs forever. I was thinking about getting her one with a internet browser like some LG & Samsungs have for watching shit on hulu.com. I would like to believe that it'll work but deep down inside I know it'll be crappy, won't support flash, or will probably refer you to use the app installed on the TV (stupid hulu plus). Just wanted to know before I make a choice for her.

Buying a $100-150 android box for the TV is a better option than a smart TV.
It's web browsing support will be far better, as well as a much wider range of apps.

The hulu.com website will not allow mobile devices, including smart TV's, to view it's videos. They force you to use the hulu app which requires a Hulu Plus subscription. So, do NOT upgrade to a smart tv hoping to watch hulu for free.
