Hyper 212 EVO is a good budget cooler, often goes for $25 and has LGA 1366 mounts. It will still fit an LGA 1150 if you do decide to upgrade but keep in mind you'll have to also replace MB and you might even want new RAM.

I don't have anything to add to fixing the overheating issue, but I too would invest in an aftermarket cooler. For $20 you can get a 212 Plus, Evo, or something else. It's piece of mind for a small price. I use arctic silver 5 which is around $8 depending on where you get it. My 3570k is overclocked to 4.2ghz and I'm usually around 30c idle. Haven't tested under full load as I recently changed cases, but now I'm waiting on a replacement mobo.
AS5 is a bit outdated but it'll only make a few degrees difference anyway, I would just use the paste included with the heatsink unless you are going try and OC.
