    Walk of Echoes - Surge/Endowed Mode

    Using Giant's Drink+Wizard's Drink>Megalixir was the only way I was able to cap points.

    If anyone noticed what the procs were for endowed mode, please post!

    Is Endowed Mode a "rare" Surge Mode with more temp items?
    Or are there bigger differences?

    Endowed happens regardless of Surge. You get a shitton of temporary items.

    Revitalizer, Lucid Potion 3, Lucid Ether 3, Dusty Reraise, etc. etc.

    Surge (high level) mode has a chance to occur after a flux has been defeated. Endowed mode occurs when a weakness is proc'd in either normal or surge mode.

    guess they forgot to take away the armor stripping move of mandis... 1 sec your fine the next you get hit for 800 dmg on run totally naked without any gear or weapon on, nice times... flux 3...

    So a Walk (wether it's a Surge or a normal one) dynamically "becomes" an Endowed one when a weakness is procced?

    Sorry you're overthinking this...

    When you do a walk either surge or normal there is a chance for you to proc "Endowed" which gives you a lot of temp items and more exp. That's it.

    Looks like you get a new title, "Illuminator of the X Walk"

    Also, drop rates for +1 increased? Got these two within the span of like three runs, been farming NQ for a week or two now and haven't gotten any other gear.

    Nice of them not to add a warp-out temp item after you clear the run given all the other QoL stuff. I don't care if #7 gets surged, I'm not entering it.

    [EDIT] Also forgot how aggravating it was that the flux timers round down, so when it says 1min remaining, you're waiting a full 2min before it opens.

    I always wished there was such a temp item. They're eventually gonna let us get new KI without having to zone to xarc so maybe we can dream.

    They said they're gonna add that and add a Home Point in Xarc (why not directly inside then?).
    Granted that getting to Xarc_S now that we can warp through home points is much less annoying than before, but still...

    Given how WoE works nowadays though, I don't see the point of having to get the medallion from Kupofried.
    In the first, and second and maybe third implementation of WoE it had a purpose.
    WoE was different, there were cooldowns and other things, and having to get the medallion was a form of gating to slow down progress and spamming of WoE. Wether it was a good one or a bad one I don't want to say, but at least it had a purpose.
    But with the current WoE? The only cooldown is waiting for a certain flux to repop, so in this scenario having to constantly get and re-get the medallion makes no sense, it has no purpose. It's just a remnant of an older system which serve no more purpose at all.
    Someone might say "it's to avoid people entering and exiting 1000 times until they get a Brew". In all honesty I doubt that would be such a big deal, but even if that's the reason they could just think of other means to avoid that while still keeping the medallion as a new, permanent Key Item.

    Ditch brew, add a warp-to-lobby temp item. I'm sure no one would complain. These Surge versions seem pretty much identical in enemy layout outside of an inflation of their stats, that's about it.

    I'm having zero issues capping reward on these with a gimp-ass SMN that only has capped -BP1 and a i115 ammo.

    Yeah they need some kind of Firefly item to take us out. Running back to a flux takes like 5-6min sometimes. Either that or make hests able to warp you out.

    As expected, it's a wipefest for melee. Better off going nuker, pet job or RNG. Did a few fluxes and it's just 800-1.1k aoe spam every 8 seconds. Very hard to stay alive unless you have a dedicated WHM with a refresher.

    thats not the case here, plenty of melee mages were here, only a few pet jobs, people survived just fine, there was however a couple of geos debuffing the bosses to hell.
