Apple Special Event - iPhone 6 Announcement - Sept.9th 2014

Starting at 1:00 PM EST today. Supposedly they will be showing off iPhone 6 (both sizes?), possible more features iOS8 (maybe), and possible iWatch (maybe).

If you want to stream it on the Apple site, I believe you'll need Safari and QuickTime installed, then you can view it there.

Who's going to be buying an iPhone 6!?

The last apple product I actually bought was a 5th Genereation iPod. Nothing like that walled garden to keep me from buying another one of their products.

I don't expect anything amazing at this point. It'll pretty be gimmicky if anything. My iPhone 3S is serving me well

Don't care much about the 5.5inch size, but I'm interested in what's gonna be new. I have the 5 so looking forward to getting the 6

Since there have been almost no leaks about the iWatch so far, I doubt the release will be any time soon.

My Nexus 5 is still working very well, so I doubt I would get the new iPhone unless it blows my expectations out of the water (which I doubt)

I'm excited, I need a upgrade from my 5. I have a good feeling about the announcement.

There's been some leak but the only thing worth knowing is that the announcement should be today but the release will be next year.

Yeah when I said leaks, I meant like images where you can already see what the next iPhone will look like. No one has a clue what the iWatch would look like before the announcement meaning no mass production has started yet.

Not a huge fan of the iPhone after ditching my 3GS for a Galaxy S3, but I like to keep up with what's going on with other tech companies. I don't expect a lot of new things for the iPhone except the new USB charger that adopts the new standard that allows you to plug in the USB upside down or right side up. The changes to iOS that have been shown already will add things that the phone desperately needed in order to compete with Android though they still won't commit to home screen widgets.
