    ASUS G74SX HDD Connector Cable

Long shot, but does anyone have this from the box for the Asus G74SX Netbook? I need one and ASUS doesn't sell it anymore...I must have thrown it away years ago.

Cross posted this in the buy/sell/trade forum.

Got any part numbers? The ribbon, pcb, and caddy probably all have their own part numbers you can search on. Maybe they're listed in the manual or on asus' support website somewhere.

I found this post while doing a quick search (might not be exactly what you need): http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...ble-to-connect The links work at least, found a few expired ebay listings before this link, but keep looking for part numbers and searching on them.

They've been sold out for months, and of course my box is long thrown away that would have had the part in it. I bought the laptop dec 2011, so I know it's a stretch to see if anyone still has theirs.

Found a couple, maybe. I have no idea how good these sites are, so if you decide to use one, go with a temporary money card of some kind just in case.

    $40 - http://www.impactcomputers.com/60-n56hd1000-e01.html
    $190 (fucking lolprice) - http://www.notebookparts.com/asus-g7...56hd1000-d0-2/
    $165 (another high priced one) - http://www.memory4less.com/m4l_itemd...mid=1469446833
    AU$29 (probably huge shipping cost) - http://laptopparts.com.au/asus-repla...d0-2-used.html

i googled "60-N56HD1000" and got a fair number of results, though most were not on the first page. good luck

Lol...the first link is now 79 bucks. I'd rather deal with 250gb sdd than pay another 79 just to connect a 2nd laptop. I'll just carry around a portable hdd. The most I was looking to spend was 20 bucks to an owner who doesn't care to install a 2nd hdd.
