That was Chuck, the writer of the "Supernatural" books in the show and probably one of the only side characters to not die a horrible unscreen death because of the boys

I don't understand the Monster recap for a basic Monster episode with zero plot. I was hoping we'd see Loki come back and fuck with them by using every monster in the book, or some super monster, or something better than what we got

That damn song they kept playing in the mansion while the boys were snooping around was so cheesy lol. Made me chuckle though, and me thinks that the mark might be corrupting Dean again, given how he acted at the end. I also loved how when Dean was looking at the suit of armor like he expected it to come to life, like he was in an episode of Scooby Doo.

i wouldn't say it was very good but i liked this episode. definitely was more entertaining than some of the tripe we've seen over past seasons.

Her name is Rowena. The actress that plays her is Scottish and if she keeps her accent, my guess would be that she is most likely related to Crowley (Wife or his mother who was a witch). If she is one of the two, then her appearance may be an unintended consequence to the timeline for letting Crowley's son live.

Least interesting midseason finale ever. Hyperbole aside I never really felt interested in the episode until the ending and even that was just more of the same that we have been seeing.

Returns on the 20th and picked up for an 11th season. I still can't believe this will be on for that long after it was supposed to end after the 5th season.
