It's funny because almost every season, one of the brothers needs to be saved and it gets a little boring but I will say that this looks like it is going to be a fun ride. I wouldn't mind the series ending with Dean being the king of hell and Sam taking on Castiels role.

I always thought t would be an awesome season if Sam became the leader of Angels/God and Dean became king of hell, and it was Sam vs dean!

Pretty much. And the series was supposed to end after that season too so it sounds like they are trying to bring that bit back to end on that note.
