Let's hope they have the sense to bring out any FC housing content soon. Because right now, all a FC house does is tie people down. I lead a small, casual FC and we worked pretty hard to get our medium house in the Mist. I wanted personal housing, but not like this.

I think they had something else in mind initially and then realised they had to cheap out on it for some reason. All they needed to do was give the players the equivalent of a 1m small house - probably one room and a small patch of garden and we would have been happy.

What's the point of a FC house now? Why as a new FC would you ever bother? Because if you invest in a FC house then you have everything to lose (FC splits, kicks you etc) but if you put your money in a personal house you lose nothing.

Unless SE does something pretty huge for FC's I don't see the point of a FC house right now.

God this is just a game! I've put money in my main FC for middle house, I've put money in a big house on my friend's FC, I've lost money in 2 previous FC for houses, does it really matter?

Yeah. I got bored when I realized it was the thing they showed off before so I didn't 100% confirm but it's pretty likely lol. Also got bored trying to parse old vs new files. I'll care more at 2.4

People cry like a motherfucker over everything. However, I did not expect such a gigantic whine-fest this time around. People really wanted those personal houses, lol. Now that I think about it in retrospect, they had to deal with the very huge desire by players that wanted a house, so here's how it came about. Not with a bang, but with a very small whimper.

Logged into Balmung right when servers went up. Took money off retainer. Went to Mist. Already most of it was sold and the rest were sold out within minutes (basically in the time it took me to see what was still open and then try getting there).

The smirk on the MNK pose is a nice touch too

Soooooooooooo, I guess they didn't up Desynth cap to 400 this time around? Do we know when that's happening?

Also, did that item-link change finally patch out our ability to write in colors? I forgot to check. My Blunt Arrow macro is RAINBOWIFIED and I need to see if I lost that.
