Don't feel like making a new thread:
Starting down the Atomos path. Zone into WoE for a CS. Working on the next part because I zoned into the wrong WoE.
Oh and Caitsith has no new abilities.
ok so which one is the right WoE >_>
Zoned in from marshlands [s] got CS, click door get another CS, click door again to enter fight, Fight is 2 mobs, dark wyrm and a Gallu, saw Dark star, sinister wing, searing halitus, Kurnugi Collapse and afew others.
reward is atmos and lilsette's alter ego cipher
Marshlands/Grauberg one is the correct one. The one in Xarc is the incorrect one.
Initial testing with Entrust on my GEO. Gear that extended the effect of Indi spells will also extend the spell you place on the party member. My Indi spells last 3:49, and the initial test resulted in the same time when I used Indi-haste on a LS member.
Just fought Titan. Distract2 got a grellow proc every time it landed. CDC got a red proc once. r0'd and lost connection before i could kill it -_-. Fought it on normal, seemed pretty easy as pld + rdm for the 8 minutes I was in there.
Apogee is... less useful than I had hoped. It's a pre-emptive spell. You cast it, then the next BP you use has less cooldown.
The Lil fight is easy though. Conduit took care of one mob, and Ruda the other.
No extra reward other than baby Atomos and Lil trust. I assume this means the fight can only ever be done once. Oh well, later Lil.
Apogee:
MP cost increases to 150% of original BP cost.
i wasn't paying attention to recast but i think its immediate.
will find out in 2 min
It's immediate.
Gonna go try Atomos.
EDIT: Atomos requires you to unsummon your avatar, and he's pretty damn slow about doing his thing. He appears, waits, sucks up from an enemy, waits, spits out on you, waits, unsummons. I didn't test if I could physically unsummon him, but you probably can.
Metallic Body - 5 mins to 15 mins
Memento Mori - 30 seconds to 60 seconds
Reactor Cool - 2 min to 3 min
Saline Coat - 1 min to 2 min
Plasma Charge - 1 min to 12 mins 18 seconds?
Diamond Hide - 5 min to 15 min
Magic Barrier - 5 min to 15 min
Barrier Tusk - 1 min to 3 min
Orcish Counterstance - 1 min to 3 min
Nature's Meditation - 60 sec to 90 sec
Zephyr Mantle - 5 min to still 5 min
Triumphant Roar - 60 sec to 90 sec, 36 mp to 24 mp
Regeneration - 10 hp/tick to 25 hp/tick
Avatar's Favor
- Still need to wait over 2 long minutes to cap potency
- Still lose some potency after BP
- Still need to full time a heavy SMN skill set for maximum potency
- Outside of Ifrit and Ramuh's Favor, potency is still severely outdated (24 Regen, 6 Refresh, 87 DEF, 13 MAB, 31 Evasion, 15 MDB...)
Avatar ACC patch
Base ACC Pre patch :
Lvl 119: 792
Lvl 121 : 849
Base ACC Post patch :
Lvl 119 : 875
Lvl 121 : 949
Daken is allowing me on NIN to self skillchain, using Delve katana and OAT WKR
So favor is useless. Great.
Oh and the perp increase is 3.
My favorite thing about Daken is Amazing throwing skillups wihtout having to actually range attack over and over like before.
if u're doing the epilogue for the Thirst for XX quest series..
1) talk to Roskin
2) go to Celennia library, check History to do a trivia challenge.
I believe there 13 questions in total. u appear to only get the 13th question if u get it all right. Questions are randomized - if u get it wrong just rezone and try again.
3) go back to Roskin
4) wait for game day to change
5) return to Roskin, complete quest.
I got a Sonia's Diary (eva skillup) and 2 bayld. the ingame text seems to imply u can come back again and get free skill up books again and again. probably JP midnight?
Not mentioned in the update notes, but throwing was raised to A+ as well
Anyone happen to see what the Incursion music was changed to?
Some automaton notes (Sharpshoooter frame plus Divinator):
Pre patch: Accuracy was 786, Ranged accuracy was 839
Post patch: Accuracy is now 876, Ranged accuracy is now 930
Looks like a 12-15% increase?
